Manitou Beach Historical Map

This historical map of Manitou Beach is a tribute to those people who recognized long ago the uniqueness of Manitou Beach
and worked so hard during Prohibition, the Roaring Twenties, the Depression and two World Wars to create such a special
community.

A sincere thank you is extended to the many people who have made this project possible: especially Sue Alcock for research & development; Gary Bergen for design & layout of the maps; Tom Alcock, Manitou Beach Communities in Bloom, the Resort
Village of Manitou Beach, Saskatchewan Archives for support; and Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation for financial assistance.

Photographs courtesy of: Celebrate 100 Years of Cooking 1905-2005, Prairie Reflections, Ruth Schellenberg, Ray Smith, Jean & Lionel Sproule, Don Wilson.

A print version is available for sale in 11″ x 17″ format, with the West Side on one side and the East side on the other. Copies
can be obtained from Sue Alcock, Manitou Beach, SK. S0K 4T1.
